HR Assistant. Bury. £27k - £30k doe + 25 days hol + Bank hols, + 4 x death in service
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Assistant ( 3 years minimum HR experience essential) to join a growing organisation based in Bury, supporting and reporting to the Operations Director administering core HR functions. Duties will include;

On and off boarding employees, probation reviews, personnel file maintenance and updating employee records using Workday system ( previous experience a huge advantage)

Co-ordinating recruitment activities - posting job adverts, screening cv's, arranging interviews, sending job offer letters and contracts

Maintaining holidays and sickness records

acting as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures

Running various reports
-
Supporting the payroll and benefits team using the ADP system (previous payroll experience also a massive advantage )

Possible and occasional travel to other UK based sites
To be successful, you will need a minimum of 3 years experience within HR, have strong organisational and communication skills, have a high level of discretion and confidentiality and excellent attention to detail. The role will be 5 days in the office to begin with, however, there is the chance to do 2 days WFH once up to speed with the role. There are also potential future progression opportunities within the organisation
