Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Sittingbourne, are looking to recruit Quality Operative to work with their Final Inspection team . Specialising in manufacturing precision engineered components they are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
Main Duties

Perform final stage component inspections, both visual and measuring as appropriate.

Perform final stage corrections as needed using hand tools

Properly pack and label finished products for safe transport and delivery.

Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule and coordinate shipments.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
Requirements

Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Quality environment.

Experience with both hand tools and basic measuring equipment

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Good administration and basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.

You must be physically fit as the role entails a degree of manual handling and long periods of standing.
Hours of work
Monday-Thursday 7.30-16.00 and Friday 7.30-13.30. 38 hours a week
