Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Sittingbourne, are looking to recruit Final Inspection Operative to work with their production team . Specialising in manufacturing precision engineered components they are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
Main Duties
- Perform final stage component inspections, both visual and measuring as appropriate.
- Perform final stage corrections as needed using hand tools
- Properly pack and label finished products for safe transport and delivery.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule and coordinate shipments.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Quality environment.
- Experience with both hand tools and basic measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good administration and basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.
- You must be physically fit as the role entails a degree of manual handling and long periods of standing.
- Safety boots will be required.
Hours of work
Monday-Thursday 7.30-16.00 and Friday 7.30-13.30. 38 hours a week
