You will be…
Liaising with suppliers regarding new and existing requirements
Maintaining accurate supply chain records, supplier databases and contract files
Monitoring suppliers service levels
Supporting with contract renewals and administration
Managing supply chain inbox
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding deliveries, orders, pricing and general queries
Evaluating prices and quality from approved suppliers
The successful candidate will have…
Previous experience working in a procurement / supply chain / purchasing capacity is preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with excellent attention to detail
Experience in navigating and updating internal databases and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Reliable transport to commute to Skelmersdale offices daily
