Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Part Time Order Picker to join a small and friendly warehouse team based within a modern storage and distribution facility in Romford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time weekday work in a well-organised warehouse environment. The role involves picking and preparing customer orders while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the storage and distribution operation.
Duties of the Order Picker will include:
Accurately picking customer orders using picking lists or a warehouse management system
Packing and preparing orders ready for dispatch
Booking and preparing courier collections
Loading and unloading deliveries
Organising stock within the storage facility
Supporting goods-in and stock checks when required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environmentThe ideal candidate will:
Have previous order picking or warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of logistics distribution and supply chain
Be comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 25kg
Have good attention to detail
Be reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently
Have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a teamThis role offers stable part-time hours with an ongoing temporary contract, working within a clean and organised facility. Occasional Saturday shifts may also be available for those looking for extra hours.
