As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting core financial processes and ensuring transactions are managed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day administration of the contributions collection process, including monitoring clearance accounts and investigating outstanding items.
Setting up ad hoc payments and account transfers within the banking platform for authorisation.
Handling and resolving queries from both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Overseeing payments to ensure transactions are correctly allocated
Producing cash management reports to identify potential shortfalls
Supporting month-end financial activities, including preparing accruals and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
Assisting the wider Finance team with operational tasks and contributing to ongoing finance projects and improvements.
Essential:
Experience managing high-volume financial transactions
A background in transactional accounting, including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, or sales ledger activities.
Experience setting up UK and international payments and processing account transfers through banking systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and investigate variances.
Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to work confidently with large datasets
