IMH Recruitment are currently seeking reliable Waste Collection Operatives to work for our client in Barnsley.
You will be working as part of a team delivering household waste collection services across the borough, ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Duties:

Assisting with daily household waste collections

Operating mechanical bin lifting equipment
-
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
-
Carrying out physically demanding tasks safely

Supporting the driver and supervisor to meet daily schedules

Being polite and customer-focused when dealing with members of the public

Following Health & Safety procedures at all times

Using basic ICT systems to complete electronic records where required
Essential Requirements:
-
Experience working individually or as part of a team
-
Experience in waste management or a similar operational environment

Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
-
Good communication skills and a positive attitude to work
-
Ability to follow verbal, written, and electronic instructions
