Telehandler Driver – Newmarket Area
We are currently recruiting for experienced Telehandler Drivers (NPORS / CPCS) to support ongoing works across busy construction projects in the Newmarket area. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent hours and stable site placement for reliable, safety-conscious operators.
This role is ideal for drivers who are confident working in fast-paced site environments and who understand the importance of safety, precision, and teamwork when operating plant machinery.
Working Hours & Pay:
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 9.5 hours paid per day
- £20.00 per hour (CIS)

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating the Telehandler safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site regulations
- Transporting and supplying materials to various trades across site
- Loading, unloading, and distributing deliveries
- Supporting site logistics and maintaining workflow efficiency
- Conducting daily machine checks and reporting any defects
- Assisting with general site duties when required
- Maintaining clear communication with site management and banksmen
- Adhering strictly to all health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler Card
- Safety Critical Medical (essential)
- Proven on-site Telehandler operating experience
- Strong understanding of site safety standards
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Full PPE
- Good communication skills
