Performance Objectives
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor - The role will be split between site and office and will include:

Supporting cost control and commercial reporting

Assisting with interim valuations, variations and final accounts

Supporting subcontractor procurement and account management
-
Maintaining cost trackers, procurement schedules and commercial registers

Contributing to monthly CVRs, forecasting and cashflow reporting

Attending site visits and project meetings
-
Learning contract administration under JCT and NEC forms
Person Specification
-
Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or similar
-
1–2 years’ experience in a commercial construction role or relevant placement
-
Basic understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
-
Strong numerical and organisational skills
-
Confident using Excel and standard IT systems
-
Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress within a commercial career
-
CSCS card (or willing to obtain)
-
Full UK driving licence beneficial
