As a Mental Health Assistant, you will support pupils both academically and emotionally throughout the school day. You will help students develop coping strategies, encourage positive social interactions, and assist with behaviour regulation in and outside the classroom. You will also collaborate closely with teachers, SEN staff, and therapists to implement tailored support plans.
