Learning Support Assistant

TimePlan Education is supporting a special school seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils with physical disabilities and medical needs. This role suits someone who is caring, practical and confident supporting personal care and mobility.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with physical, sensory and medical needs across the curriculum.
Assist with personal care, mobility, use of hoists and specialist equipment (full training provided).
Help pupils participate in learning and therapy sessions, promoting independence wherever possible.
Communicate closely with teachers, physiotherapists, nurses and families and maintain accurate records.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in care, special schools or supporting pupils with physical/medical needs (desirable).
Be respectful, discreet and comfortable with personal care and manual handling (training provided).
Be a reliable team player, keen to support holistic progress for each pupil.
