Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm (2:30pm finish on Fridays)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
An established and growing manufacturing business based just outside Saffron Walden is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role offering long-term opportunity and the chance to secure a permanent position.
This position would suit candidates with experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, quality inspection or testing environments.
The Role
As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the production and quality processes of specialist cabling products used in demanding environments.
Duties

Assembling oceanic and subsea cabling components

Following technical drawings and work instructions
-
Soldering and wiring (desirable but not essential)

Product testing and inspection

Quality checking finished goods

Packing and preparing orders for dispatch

General warehouse and production duties
This is a varied role requiring a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Requirements

Keen eye for detail

Good manual dexterity

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Previous experience within manufacturing, assembly, warehouse or production preferred

Soldering experience advantageous but not essential
