Construction Secretary Warrington up to £30,000 DOE+ Holiday Pay (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Construction Secretary to join a prestigious homebuilder, based in Warrington to cover a period of maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing diaries for the Construction Director and Health & Safety Director

Coordinating meetings, site visits and construction-related events
-
Providing administrative support to site teams and head office

Collating Board reports and maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation
-
Overseeing document control, archiving and compliance processes
-
Monitoring training requirements and maintaining training records
-
Arranging training courses and supporting audits
-
Processing invoices, expenses, mileage claims and company credit cards
-
Updating sales forecasts and weekly site progress reports
-
Maintaining staff holiday records and supporting onboarding of new starters
-
Registering new sites and managing construction documentation
-
Acting as superuser for Viewpoint and Field View systems
-
Providing general IT and operational support across the department
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused administrator who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys supporting senior leadership and operational teams.
Skills required:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Confident verbal and written communication skills

Proven experience within a commercial environment

Ability and confidence to work on own initiative

Experience with construction administration processes and site-based documentation – Desirable!

Ability to manage electronic filing systems and compliance records
Professional and approachable manner when dealing with staff, contractors, and external bodies
