Friday: 8:00am - Early Finish

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative with FLT to join our busy engineering company based in Bacup (OL13).
This is a varied and hands-on role working within a full engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day yard operations while also assisting other members of staff across the business when required.
This is a rewarding position suited to someone who is proactive, practical, and confident thinking on their feet.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT)
Loading and unloading deliveries
Managing and organising yard stock and materials
Supporting workshop and engineering staff when required
Assisting with general yard duties and housekeeping
Ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently around site
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements
Valid FLT licence (preferred)
Full UK driving licence (advantageous)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet
Willingness to take initiative and support the wider team
Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment
