Overview
Byworth Boilers are a leading UK manufacturer of industrial steam and hot water boilers, supplying engineered boilerhouse solutions to customers across food, beverage, pharmaceutical and general manufacturing industries.
With a reputation built on quality, innovation and in-house manufacturing, Byworth design, build, install and commission complex boilerhouse systems across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking a Head of Delivery to lead their Installation and Commissioning function.
This is a senior operational role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification and within budget, while providing outstanding service to customers.
The Role
You will lead a team of circa 10 Installation and Commissioning Engineers and take ownership of multiple live projects at any one time (typically 2 installations and 3 commissioning projects).
Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing installation and commissioning activities across customer sites

Acting as the main point of contact for customers during project delivery

Managing project handover and customer sign-off

Ensuring works meet contractual, technical and certification requirements

Estimating and pricing installation and commissioning works

Managing delivery costs and overseeing a P&L of circa £2m

Chairing site meetings with customers and internal teams

Working closely with Design, Production and Sales to ensure smooth project execution
About You

Proven experience delivering installation and commissioning projects

Strong commercial acumen, including P&L responsibility

Experience of contract and project management

Previous people management experience leading engineering teams

Able to manage multiple sites and priorities simultaneously

Strong communicator with customers and internal stakeholders
Experience within boilerhouse, steam or similar engineered systems is beneficial but not essential
