CCTV / Drainage Investigations Operative
Our client is seeking an experienced CCTV / Drainage Investigations Operative to join a newly established CCTV team operating across the North West.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team delivering high-quality drainage investigations and CCTV surveys across public sewer networks and domestic drainage systems.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out detailed CCTV surveys of drainage and sewer networks using state-of-the-art equipment. Your work will involve identifying defects, recording accurate data, and providing clear, reliable reports to clients.
This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring a proactive, safety-conscious individual who is comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct CCTV drainage surveys using specialist equipment

Identify and record defects within sewer and drainage systems

Accurately complete documentation and annotate plans

Liaise professionally with clients and members of the public

Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations

Work collaboratively as part of a three-person field team
About You
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with previous experience in a similar role. You will take pride in producing accurate work and delivering excellent service.
Essential Skills & Experience

Previous CCTV drainage survey experience (preferred)

Strong understanding of public sewer networks and domestic drainage systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Accurate record-keeping and strong attention to detail

Strong problem-solving abilities

Proven reliability and flexibility

Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications

Confined Spaces Certification
-
NRSWA Signing, Lighting & Guarding qualification

Experience working in highways environments
Candidates without the above certifications will still be considered if they can demonstrate relevant outdoor or manual labour experience and a willingness to undertake training.
Working Conditions
This role involves:

Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Manual handling, including lifting heavy manhole covers

Entering confined spaces and sewer systems

Flexible working hours, including early starts, late finishes, occasional Saturday work, and potential night work

Overtime paid at enhanced rates
