We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Wakefield. This is a hybrid role, so candidates must be comfortable splitting their time between operating an FLT and carrying out general warehouse duties.
This is a hands-on position and will involve manual handling and heavy lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving stock within the warehouse
Picking and packing orders
Manual handling of goods, including heavy items
Supporting general warehouse operations as required
Maintaining health and safety standards at all times
Skills:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date)
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Comfortable with a hybrid FLT + manual role
Ability to lift heavy items regularly
Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
