This Sales & Finance Administrator role is a key position within the team, offering a varied workload across sales support and finance administration. The successful Sales & Finance Administrator will play an important part in ensuring orders move smoothly from enquiry through to invoicing, while also supporting both the sales ledger and purchase ledger functions.

Sales & Finance Administrator – The Role
• Handling the full sales order process from initial enquiry through to dispatch
• Producing quotations, confirmations and all associated documentation
• Acting as a first point of contact for customer queries via phone and email
• Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries
• Maintaining accurate customer records, pricing and product information
• Producing sales reports and supporting the wider sales team with administration
Sales & Finance Administrator – Responsibilities

Raising invoices, credit notes and customer statements

Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts

Supporting credit control and following up on outstanding balances

Investigating and resolving invoice or billing queries

Ensuring all VAT and pricing information is applied accurately

Processing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders and delivery notes

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

Assisting with payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid on time

Maintaining accurate records and supporting month end activities

Communicating with suppliers regarding invoice queries
Sales & Finance Administrator – About You
• Previous experience in a Sales Administrator or finance administration role
• Working knowledge of sales ledger and or purchase ledger processes
• Confident using Microsoft Office including Excel
• Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
• Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working with figures and financial data
• Experience of CRM or ERP systems would be advantageous
