Job Summary:
Reporting into the Maintenance Manager you will use modern maintenance systems and techniques to maintain business as usual for the plant operations, On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting on project work to optimise to continuously improve availability/reliability of the equipment.
This is a key office-based role working closely with the Maintenance Manager supporting the day-to-day operational functionality of the site. You will support the administrative requirements within the dept raising PO’s, ordering parts, maintaining service contracts, scheduling planned maintenance and supporting project management. In addition, you will support the development and implementation of training plans for both shift and days-based maintenance teams. You will need to be a highly organised individual who has a competent overall engineering understanding. Ideally, you have worked in a heavy industrial background or project management roles within a manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities

Raising purchase orders

Support the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager in project management

Complete and maintain all required compliance and facilities-based administration

Stock management of the stores

Ensure that the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and project schedules are kept up to date using a CMMS system

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and produce performance reports and KPIs.

Oversee contractor activities and provide support to the maintenance team

Supporting compliance with Health & Safety, PUWER, LOLER

Desirable skills:
This role is full-time (onsite) - 37 hours per week over 4/5 days.
Salary: £30,000 + depending on experience.
