Overview
A University in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to support recruitment activity during a period of increased hiring demand. The role will provide essential operational support to the HR team, ensuring recruitment processes run efficiently and in line with university procedures.
This position would suit an organised and proactive administrator with strong coordination skills who can manage high volumes of activity and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the university.
Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support across end-to-end recruitment processes

Coordinate job postings, shortlisting and interview scheduling

Liaise with hiring managers, candidates and HR colleagues

Maintain accurate recruitment records and systems

Prepare offer documentation and onboarding paperwork

Support compliance checks and right-to-work documentation

Assist with general HR administrative tasks as required

Ensure recruitment processes adhere to internal policy and employment legislation

Essential

Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment

Strong organisational and coordination skills

Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines
