Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 per annum Location: Based near Uxbridge (Commutable from Uxbridge, Denham, Slough, Ruislip, Gerrards Cross, Hayes and surrounding areas) Hours: 37 hours per week – Early finish on Fridays Interview Process: One-stage, onsite Start Date: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment are partnering with a well-established aerospace manufacturing business based near Uxbridge. This is a permanent opportunity for a Waste Operative to join a structured, supportive site team responsible for maintaining environmental standards and ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently.

This role would suit someone practical, reliable and physically capable, who takes pride in keeping a site organised and compliant.

Waste Operative Responsibilities

Collection, segregation and processing of recyclable waste streams (metals, plastics, cardboard etc.)
Preparing materials for collection by external waste providers
Maintaining clean, tidy and hazard-free internal and external areas
Supporting site operations with reactive tasks such as furniture and equipment moves
Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT)
Driving electric site vehicles whilst towing materials
Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
