Seymour John are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a growing manufacturing business based in Telford.
This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of home and office working, and is available on either a temporary or permanent basis. The position has arisen due to an immediate vacancy, with strong long-term potential for the right candidate.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day support to the finance function, ensuring accurate processing and effective communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase orders

Posting sales and purchase invoices onto the accounting system

Preparing supplier payment runs

Managing and monitoring the finance email inbox

Assisting with basic reconciliations

Supporting VAT and invoicing processes

General administrative support within finance
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role

Understanding of invoicing, VAT, and basic reconciliations

Experience using accounting software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
