The General Dental Council (GDC) seeks a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist to act as the face of the organisation and provide a first-rate customer service.
In this varied role, you will provide a professional reception service, greeting visitors, checking and ensuring security access, and answering front-line enquiries, face to face and via email and telephone, signposting and escalating where necessary. The role includes a range of administrative duties such as booking appointments, monitoring inboxes and maintaining security records, as well as general housekeeping of the reception area.
Please note, the role is office-based at our London office, with hours of operation 8am – 5:30pm on a rota basis.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the ability to engage confidently and effectively with customers, demonstrating empathy, tact and discretion in discussing sensitive issues or complaints with customers and colleagues.
These well-developed inter-personal skills will be supported by a proven record of carrying out reception duties and delivering an excellent level of customer service within a professional environment.
