NonStop Care is working with a reputable local authority in South Wales to help them find an Assistant Educational Psychologist for the team. They are a well established, strong and supportive team.
This is to deliver educational psychology work in South Wales, to support children, young people and their families either in their homes or in schools.
The team is diverse and bilingual, you will have colleagues speaking different languages and friendly atmosphere. There is great support in place from management.
If you are an assistant psychologist looking for more support, you can join the team and after 1 year you can transition into a fully qualified EP post. There will be someone senior in the team supervising your work.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Educational Psychologist:
observation work with children
assessment work
consultation work in schools
working with additional learning needs professionals and early years specialists
working with colleagues in schools
occasional home visitsRequirements:
You are in years 2/3 of a recognised Trainee EP course.
