Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking for a rewarding night role in care? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming 14-bed residential care home in Havant for a Part Time Night Healthcare Assistant within a non-profit charitable organisation.
This well-established home is located in the beautiful conservation area of Old Bedhampton and has been owned by a local trust since 1983. As a charity-run service, the focus is firmly on quality of care and residents’ wellbeing rather than profit.
With just 14 residents, the home offers a truly person-centred environment where care is tailored to each individual. The team is committed to creating a safe, comfortable home-from-home setting where residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible and are always treated with dignity and respect. Bedrooms can be personalised to ensure each resident feels at home, and delicious home-cooked meals are prepared daily, including fresh fruit from the garden.
The Night Role
As a Night Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with personal care needs
Providing reassurance and emotional support
Conducting regular wellbeing checks
Monitoring and reporting any changes in condition
Maintaining accurate care documentation
Promoting a calm, safe, and secure environment

✅ About You
Previous care experience preferred but not essential
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) desirable
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Good communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting older people
