A supportive SEN and SEMH school in Thatcham is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Assistant to join their team. You will support children and young people aged 5-18 with Autism, ADHD, trauma backgrounds, anxiety, and other emotional and mental health needs.

Role: Mental Health Assistant

- Salary: £89-£100 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Start Date: ASAP

- Experience: Preferred but not essentialAs a Mental Health Assistant, you will:
- Support students with emotional regulation and anxiety management
- Assist with implementing behaviour and therapy-informed strategies
- Provide 1:1 and small group intervention support
- Work alongside SENCOs, therapists, and mental health professionals
- Help create a safe and nurturing learning environment
You will gain valuable experience in trauma-informed practice, behaviour management, and individualised support planning.
