We are looking for an Editorial Assistant to join a leading international organisation who work in the technology for the entertainment sector.
As the Editorial Assistant, a newly created role, you’ll work with the marketing team to support the company’s industry leading online and print magazine. Working across print, web and social media the Editorial Assistant will:

Assist with copy/layout proofing including fact-checking and making editorial contributions (writing/editing)

Proof, edit and upload daily online news to the web, reformat articles from the print edition to be ‘featured articles’ and other web-based duties

Assist with producing, maintaining and growing social media presence

Attend in person trade/live events as needed, interviewing, photographing and gathering content for print and socials

Other admin duties in the team such as digitisation of print archives etc
Skills & experience required:

A formal qualification in English, Journalism, Media, Communications or related (or equivalent)

Working knowledge of Adobe Suite and Canva or similar

Strong social media experience and a keen interest in getting into publishing and editorial work

Strong attention to detail and great content creation/content writing skills

Confident interviewing on and off camera for video and written content
Salary, hours and company benefits:

Circa £28,000

Monday to Friday 40 hours a week
