I’m currently working with a well-established investment management firm who are looking to add an Investment Administrator to their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to a well established firm supporting a mix of discretionary and advisory clients. The role is primarily administrative, but you’ll play a key part in helping the team deliver a high-quality, responsive service to their clients.
If you enjoy being organised, keeping things running smoothly, and working in a professional financial services environment — this could be a great fit.
The Role
You’ll be providing day-to-day administrative and organisational support to the Investment Managers. Your work will help maintain strong relationships between the managers and their clients by ensuring everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
This is a non-regulated role, but accuracy, attention to detail and compliance awareness are still very important.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Providing full administrative support to the Investment Management team
-
Managing client records and ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
-
Handling incoming calls, taking messages, and recording notes on client files
-
Preparing documentation for client meetings and potential new clients
-
Producing and issuing client valuations within required timescales
-
Liaising with Operations and Accounts regarding cash movements and payments (including currency payments)
-
Monitoring new investments coming in and resolving any issues that arise
-
Supporting KYC collection and maintaining compliance logs
-
Assisting with client suitability processing and reporting
-
Managing client files (opening, closing, maintaining)
-
Overseeing general office administration including post, stationery, logs, scanning and documentation
-
Supporting occasional special projects
What They’re Looking For
-
Previous experience in a financial services environment
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
-
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
-
Proactive and able to use initiative
-
A genuine team player who can adapt to different working styles
-
Friendly, personable, and professional
*Please note that this role will not suit someone who is keen to become an investment manager in the medium term
