Prospero Teaching are currently seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a highly supportive all-through SEN School in Chelmsford, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are compassionate, resilient, and eager to support learners aged 7-16 with a diverse range of additional needs.
As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with:
· Autism (ASC)
· Speech, Language & Communication Needs
· Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs
· Moderate to Complex Learning Difficulties
· Sensory and Physical Needs
Your responsibilities will include:
· Providing 1:1 and small-group support
· Assisting with personalised learning programmes
· Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
· Helping create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
· Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support teams
We welcome applicants with:
· Experience within SEN settings (school or care) - desirable but not essential
· A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
· A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
· Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
· The ability to build trust and consistency with students
