We are recruiting for an experienced temporary HR Administrator for a large Stevenage based organisation.
This a hybrid-based role - with 3 days a week in the office in Stevenage and 2 days a week working from home - you must live within commutable distance of Stevenage.
Working hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
To start immediately and the assignment is for 3 months.
Primarily supporting the Recruitment and Learning and Development Team within HR.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Providing a full rand of administrative support to the recruitment process, including preparing interview packs for vacant posts, closing advertisements and scheduling of candidate interviews.
Processing pre- employment checks for new starters following Safeguarding policies.
Keeping the inhouse HR database up to date.
Providing administrative support to the HR & OD Team, including Health & Safety information.
Working with colleagues in the HR Team to provide a seamless process when onboarding new employees
Ensure compliance aligns with the companies processes at all times.
Be prepared to take on additional duties when required
Person Specification:
Experience working with an HR department is essential.
Live a commutable distance from Stevenage.
Good understanding of recruitment and retention.
Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
Able to manage, prioritise and respond to large volume of queries.
Able to build working relationships with line managers and employees
Able to work to tight deadlines.
Work collaboratively within the HR team
