A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to work with pupils who benefit from structured routines, personalised support, and a calm, understanding approach to learning.
As an ASD Support Assistant, you'll help pupils manage sensory needs, develop communication skills, and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing tailored 1:1 and small group ASD support
Supporting routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
Encouraging communication, social skills, and independence
Implementing behaviour and sensory support strategies
Working closely with SEN teachers and specialist staffASD Support Assistant role details:
Location: Reading
Pay: £89-£100 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start: ASAP
