General Operative
Location: Redditch
Hours: Mon-Thu 8:00-4:30 | Fri 8:00-1:00
Contract: Full-time
We're looking for a hands-on General Operative to join our production team in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a practical role where you'll be involved in day-to-day factory operations, helping ensure products are made safely, accurately, and on time.
Duties:
Work as part of a friendly production team to meet daily targets
Operate machinery such as mixers, pumps, and weighing equipment
Follow job sheets and instructions to produce quality products
Carry out basic equipment checks, cleaning, and maintenance
Keep production records up to date
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping
What we're looking for:
A reliable, practical team player with good attention to detail
Comfortable with physical work in a factory environment
GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Willing to work across different sites when needed
Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, paints, or coatings is a plus - but not essential, as full training will be provided
