School Cook
Anfield, Liverpool
Hours: 7:45am - 2:45pm (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £17-£19 per hour
Start date: 23rd February
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate School Cook to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Anfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and is keen to progress, with potential to develop into a Catering Manager role in the future.
The Role:
Preparing and cooking nutritious, high-quality meals for approximately (Apply online only) pupils, plus 15 members of staff
Managing daily kitchen operations during service
Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen standards are consistently met
Working collaboratively with the wider school team to deliver a positive lunchtime experience
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a cook, ideally within a school or high-volume catering environment
A good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A positive, reliable attitude and a genuine passion for feeding children well
Ambition to grow into a catering management position over time for the right candidate
