A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to work with pupils who require tailored support to thrive both emotionally and academically. This is a long-term, full-time role offering consistency, training, and the chance to make a lasting impact.
As a ASD Support Assistant you'll support children with Autism, sensory processing differences, communication needs, and emotional regulation challenges, helping them feel secure, understood, and confident at school.
What you'll be doing:
Providing 1:1 and small group ASD support
Supporting routines, structure, and transitions
Encouraging communication, social interaction, and independence
Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Working collaboratively with SEN teachers and specialistsASD Support Assistant Role details:
Location: Reading
Pay: £89-£100 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
