WORKSHOP LABOURER / DRIVER
We are recruiting for Workshop Labourer to work for our client who are in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
WORKSHOP LABOURER:
Carry out labouring tasks
Carry out Painting tasks
Follow instructions and working procedures
Assist with the general running of the shop reporting to the Team leader.
Assist colleagues and provide support to others
Improve and maintain housekeeping.
Assist with training.
Work in line with the company quality and health & safety policies and procedures.
Assist with product movement and document control around the workplace.
Carry out tasks within your abilities to satisfy the needs of our customers
Report any problem areas affecting health and safety, quality and production.
Carry out driving activities
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
Ability to follow Engineering drawings and documentation.
Ability to follow good workshop practices including metal cutting techniques such as drilling, grinding and sawing, assembly, painting etc.
Operate production machines and undertake production tasks efficiently and produce good quality product with minimum supervision..
Complete and control all relevant documentation.
Record operation cycle times and associated data.
Help to maintain the safe and efficient running of machines, equipment and the workplace.
THE HOURS:
You will be required to work on a day shift Monday – Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am- 1pm
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of £13 depending on experience.
