2 x Assembly Operatives required in Stafford Park (Telford).
Location: Stafford Park, Telford
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Working 39.5 hours a week, Mon to Thu 7:30am – 4:00pm and Fri 7:30am – 3:00pm
Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire 2 Assembly Operatives to join a well established manufacturing business in Stafford Park, please note there will be an initial 3-month probation period, after which, all being well, the role will become permanent.
The hiring manager would prefer someone who has worked in a sheet metal / fabrication manufacturing business previously, this job would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Linisher, Fettler, Riveter, Assembly Technician, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Worker, Production Technician or Machine Operative within the Sheet Metal or Fabrication sector.
What You’ll Do:
Assembling multi‑material components such as aluminium, steel, and polycarbonate sheeting
Using tools and machinery including riveters, drills, power tools, hand tools and cutting equipment
Cutting components to size and fastening via riveting, drilling, bolting, etc.
Working safely at all times, following company processes and quality standards
Receiving full job‑specific training to support your development
What We’re Looking:
Experience or understanding of working in a fast‑paced manufacturing or workshop environment
Ability to follow instructions, processes, and deadlines
Competent using hand tools and power tools
Comfortable working as part of a team
A forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential
