10:15-13:45 (17.5 hours)

What You'll Do:
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals for students and staff - sandwiches, jacket potatoes, preparing fillings.
Following food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe working environment - general cleaning, labelling goods.
Supporting the head chef in menu planning and ingredient management.
Engaging with students during meal times to promote a positive dining experience - serving on a till to students.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
A passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with people.
Basic food preparation and cooking skills (previous experience in a kitchen is a plus!).
A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
This position is temporary and part-time, based in Hoyland. We look forward to welcoming a new member to our kitchen team!
