Hours: 9:00am – 3:30pm
An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people aged 2–19 years with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication needs and associated learning difficulties.
The role is based in Farnborough and may involve working across different sites, supporting pupils in a variety of learning environments tailored to their individual needs.
The Role
The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing. Responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils in the classroom and during structured activities
Helping children access learning through personalised support and adapted approaches
Promoting positive behaviour, independence and social development
Assisting with personal care or mobility where required
Working collaboratively as part of a wider staff team to provide a safe, inclusive environment
About the Pupils
Pupils range from early years through to post-16, with a wide variety of needs. Support is delivered in small classes with a strong focus on communication, life skills and emotional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
