We are recruiting an Assistant Head of School on behalf of a specialist education provider in Manchester. This permanent role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader or senior practitioner to support the day-to-day leadership and development of a nurturing school setting.
Working closely with the Head of School, you will help drive high standards of teaching and learning, positive behaviour and attendance, effective safeguarding, and a strong, inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Support delivery of the School Improvement Plan
Monitor teaching and learning and provide staff feedback
Support behaviour, attendance and pastoral systems
Assist with staff deployment, induction and development
Build positive relationships with parents and external agencies
Act as DDSL if trained/appointed and support safeguarding practice
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a leadership or senior role within education
Strong knowledge of behaviour management and safeguarding
Confident, calm and approachable leadership style
SEND experience desirable
