Multi-Trade Maintenance Operative
Location: Midlands
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £14.50 to £16.50/hr (DOE & trade) + overtime + travel pay
We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative / Carpenter to carry out external works, repairs, and refurbishment across healthcare, education, commercial and public buildings.
What you’ll do

General maintenance & property repairs

Brickwork, plastering, slabbing, roofing, basic carpentry

Reactive and planned works
-
Work allocated via tablet/PDA

Deliver safe, high-quality jobs on time
What you’ll need

NVQ Level 2+ trade qualification
-
CSCS card
-
Full driving licence (max 3 points)

Able to pass DBS check
-
Confident working independently and with clients
Nice to have (training provided if not)
IPAF, PASMA, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness
