A major infrastructure programme is seeking a skilled and motivated Land Assembly Assistant to join its land and property team. This role would suit someone with hands-on experience in land referencing and land assembly, ideally gained within a major infrastructure or regulated project environment.
You will support the delivery of land assembly activities, working with spatial data, land referencing information and a wide range of stakeholders to help progress land acquisition and compulsory purchase processes.
Strong data management skills and an understanding of land referencing are essential, as the role plays a key part in ensuring land data is accurate, assured and compliant.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in land referencing and/or land assembly, ideally within a major infrastructure project.
Working knowledge of land referencing principles and processes.
Understanding of land assembly activities and compulsory purchase powers.
Knowledge of Land Registry and registration of title.
Experience compiling, analysing and assuring data using Excel, GIS and database tools.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across internal teams and external advisors.
Ability to operate effectively within a project or programme environment.
Experience with GIS software is desirable but not essential.
