Working Hours: Usually between 2-7pm
About the Role
A busy and welcoming secondary school in Huddersfield is looking for a Temporary School Cleaner to support the site team through to the end of the academic year. This role plays a vital part in ensuring students, staff, and visitors benefit from a clean, hygienic, and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, staff areas, and communal spaces
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, and dusting
Maintaining cleanliness of toilets and washrooms
Emptying bins and managing waste safely
Replenishing hygiene consumables
Using all cleaning equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
Reporting maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
