Learning Support Assistant – Full Time Permanent Position (Immediate Start)
Role Overview
We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work with students aged 11 to 16 within a specialist alternative provision setting in New Milton.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with SEMH and SEN needs.

Working hours: 8.30am to 4pm
Hourly rate: £13.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small-group support
Support students with SEMH needs in an alternative provision setting
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Assist with learning activities and daily routines
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 6 months childcare experience, especially supporting children or young people with SEN and SEMH needs
A patient, resilient and empathetic approach
Ability to commit to a full-time permanent role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
