Assistant Site Manager
Location: Central London
Project: High‑Rise Student Accommodation
A leading main contractor is seeking a proactive Assistant Site Manager to join the delivery team on a major high rise student accommodation development in Central London. This is a site based position offering the chance to play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
The Role
You’ll support the Site Manager and wider project team with day to day site operations, with a strong focus on quality assurance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and maintaining quality assurance procedures across the project
- Inspecting works on site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Keeping accurate records, reports, and photographic evidence of inspections
- Monitoring and assessing subcontractor performance and workmanship
- Supporting the coordination of fit‑out activities and ensuring smooth workflow
- Assisting with snagging, defect management, and handover processes
- Helping maintain a safe, organised, and efficient site environment
About You
- Previously worked Quality assurance within construction
- A Fit‑Out Supervisor / Finishing Foreman position
- You’ll thrive in a fast paced site environment and bring a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
