Axon Moore is thrilled to be working with a long-established business with Head office based in Blackburn. We are looking to recruit an Operations Coordinator/Administrator to join a very busy but extremely happy established workforce. This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys getting involved in different parts of a company and is happy to turn their hand to whatever is required to support the wider team.
This position covers supporting all departments within the business, so you will have plenty of day-to-day variety and the chance to work closely with several teams across the business, this role offers a genuine route for progression to be the right hand person to the Director.
The role is continually developing, so it would suit someone who is adaptable and keen to learn and ultimately looking for a long term progression opportunity.
Key responsibilities
Provide daily support across all office and dispatch functions
Assist the sales team with administration, order handling and customer queries
Work with the accounts team to help keep processes running smoothly
Support the warehouse with paperwork, stock queries and general coordination
Take on a range of office tasks and help out during busy periods
Keep systems and records up to date
Build good working relationships across the business
PA duties occasionally to support the Director (diary management, booking travel and accommodation etc)
About you
Well organised with a flexible and practical approach
Confident communicating with different teams
Willing to step in and help wherever needed
Good attention to detail and able to follow processes
Comfortable working in a busy environment where plans can change to meet business needs
Previous experience in administration or operations is helpful, although attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
