Nursery Assistant / EYFS Teaching Assistant - Gainsborough and Surrounding Areas
We’re currently looking for nursery assistants and EYFS teaching assistants to support children in nursery settings and early years classrooms across Gainsborough and the surrounding areas.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working closely with young children, supporting learning on a small-group or one-to-one basis, and being part of a wider early years team. You’ll be helping to create a calm, positive environment where children can build confidence, independence, and early learning skills.
The role

Supporting children during play, learning activities, and daily routines

Working alongside teachers, EYFS staff, and nursery practitioners

Providing additional support to children who need encouragement or reassurance

Helping to maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organised setting
What we’re looking for

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or EYFS setting (essential)

Childcare qualifications are welcomed but not required

A warm, reliable, and hands-on approach

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Pay
£13.69 to £14.90 per hour, depending on role, setting, and experience
