Driver and Customer Service Advisor
Our client is a well-respected provider of self-storage units across the South East of England to both the public and commercial operations.
They seek a Customer Service Advisor (capable of driving a car or van) to join their team.
On a day-to-day basis the successful applicant will be the face of the business. You will be dealing with customers face-to-face at the storage facility, at their home/place of work and over the phone. You could be collecting goods from customers and unloading them into their storage. Subsequently applicants are required to have a full UK Driving License (held for 6 years or more) with no more than 6 points.
In addition, you will be assisting to opening contracts with new customers and handle sales enquiries where appropriate. You will be involved in the everyday account management of existing customers (invoicing and credit collection), and you will be taking responsibility for the overall appearance of the facility.
Applicants will need to be physically fit and computer literate.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday (8.30am-5.30pm) with scheduled weekend shifts 2 out 3 weekends (either a Saturday 9am-2pm or a Sunday 9am-12pm).
A salary of 28k per annum is provided rising to 29k after passing probation.
