We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Payroll team in Luton. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring payroll data is managed accurately and submitted on time, helping us support our people across the organisation.
As Payroll Administrator, you will be:

Inputting new starter information into the payroll system and processing leavers and relevant tax forms (e.g. P45s, P60s)

Managing weekly payrolls for over 9,000 employees and handling payroll queries

Reconciling wage accounts and processing wage journals

Carrying out payroll calculations such as maternity, paternity, sickness, and pensions

Liaising with HMRC and sending required information

Preparing and uploading Auto Enrolment reports (Excel) to our workplace pension provider
As Payroll Administrator, you will have:

Experience working in a payroll team (around 2 years is helpful, but not essential)

Strong communication skills, the ability to work well with people at all levels and a friendly and approachable manner

Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills

The ability to manage multiple tasks and be confident working to deadlines

A flexible and collaborative approach to working in a small team

Resilience and adaptability in a growing and evolving organisation
