Pure are working with an established and growing business who are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a hands-on role with responsibility for Purchase Ledger activities and support across the wider finance function.
The Role:
Oversee Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and payment runs
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
Review employee expense claims
Support and mentor junior team members
Assist with Accounts Receivable and credit control when required
Support bank reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end processes
Maintain accurate records for audit purposes
Support reporting and ad-hoc finance projectsRequirements:
AAT qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience in an accounts / finance role
Strong Accounts Payable knowledge
Confident using Excel and MS Office
Experience with accounting systems
Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesInitially this is a 6 month contract but may have the opportunity to go permanent for the right individual.
This is a full tme office role but does offer flexibility as and when needed in a great culture and environment
