Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
Overview
An established and fast-paced operation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to play a key role within the supply chain function. This is a hands-on supervisory position within a high-volume pick and pack environment, responsible for ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately while meeting productivity and service level targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing a team of operatives, and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficient and smooth running
Manage inventory control and stock administration, ensuring goods are received accurately and aligned with the WMS
Conduct daily cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse operatives to ensure customer order and SLA targets are met
Monitor, analyse, and report operational performance against agreed KPIs
Maintain and continuously improve operational systems, processes, and best practices
Ensure full compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and legal regulations
Develop and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity
Liaise with internal departments to resolve operational and stock-related queries in a timely manner
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar management role
Strong hands-on experience in a high-volume warehouse environment
Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfilment
Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations (First Aid certification desirable)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience using ERP/WMS systems (Oracle experience advantageous)
Forklift licence
Ability to develop and implement operational processes and procedures
Strong leadership, organisational, and delegation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
